The BCCI officially declared the release of these additional tickets on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
Sales Start Date: The general sale of tickets for all matches is set to commence on September 8, 2023, starting at 8 PM. Fans can purchase tickets on the official Cricket World Cup website.
Aim of General Sale: The primary goal of this general ticket sale is to accommodate as many passionate cricket fans as possible, ensuring their participation in cricket’s premier event.
Future Sale Phases: Fans can expect notifications regarding further ticket sale phases in due time, indicating that there may be additional opportunities to purchase tickets in the future.

Warm-up Matches: Before the official start of the World Cup, all participating teams will play two warm-up games each.
These warm-up matches will be hosted in Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, and Hyderabad, starting from September 29, 2023.

Teams have until September 28, 2023, to submit their final squads, and any changes thereafter will require the approval of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
